Welcome to the American Legion Laurel Post 60
Post 60 is located at 2 Main Street in Laurel, Maryland.
The American Legion was chartered by Congress in 1919 as a patriotic, mutual-help, war-time veterans organization -- a community-service organization which now numbers nearly 3 million members -- men and women -- in nearly 15,000 American Legion Posts worldwide. These Posts are organized into 55 Departments -- one each for the 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, France, Mexico, and the Philippines.
The American Legion's national headquarters is in Indianapolis, IN, with additional offices in Washington, DC. In addition to thousands of volunteers serving in leadership and program implementation capacities in local communities to the Legion's standing national commissions and committees, the national organization has a regular full-time staff of about 300 employees.
Since its chartering in 1919, the Department of Maryland has continued The American Legion's commitment to community, state, and Nation through programs dedicated to veterans affairs, Americanism, and children & youth.

- Post 60 is open to American Legion Members and their guests, all guests must be signed in by a member.
- Post Home Members are reminded to keep their membership card with them while visiting the Post Lounge. The Lounge Access (Key) Card is not a membership card.
As a Nonprofit Organization, we periodically check membership cards and the Guest Sign-In Logs for compliance with Federal, State and County regulations to keep our nonprofit status.

Post 60 Hours of Operation
Monday through Thursday: 3 to 10 pm
(On Federal Holidays, Open at 12 pm) Fridays & Saturdays: 12 to 11 pm Sundays: 12 to 9 pm As always, the Post Lounge will remain open beyond normal closing time For directions to Laurel, Post 60 click the link.
